PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect packet loss at high speed by using a sequence number of only one stage in a receiver when an inverse order of packets in each of a plurality of networks does not occur in a multi-path environment where a transmitter and the receiver are connected by the plurality of networks.;SOLUTION: A communication device according to the present invention includes: a plurality of order buffers which accumulate packets until an order is confirmed and are arranged at every network; and a loss detecting section which determines that loss occurs when one or more packets are accumulated in all the order buffers. Such a structure is adopted, and a characteristic that the packets are stored in the order buffers of all the networks when the packet loss occurs is noticed and a packet residence state to order guarantee buffers arranged at every network is monitored in the loss detecting section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
