The invention relates to a contacting device (1) and a measuring device (45), which can be used for non-permanent electrical contacting of solar cells (3) when determining electrical properties such as an I-V characteristic of the solar cell (3) as part of a solar cell classification. The contacting device (1) has a rigid optically transparent carrier plate (5), made of glass for example. A plurality of electrical leads (7) are arranged on the carrier plate (5) along a surface of the carrier plate (5) and protruding therefrom. For example, the electrical leads (7) can run along trench-like recesses (23) formed in the carrier plate (5). The electrical leads (7) can make contact with contact fingers (21) of the solar cell (3) uniformly and preferably under conditions such as those also prevailing in the encapsulated state of the solar cell (3) in a solar module; in particular, solar cells (3) without bus bars can also be contacted.
