AUTOMATIC WALKING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING WORKING AREA THEREOF

An automatic walking device and a method for determining a working area. The method comprises the steps of: shooting an image in a target area; dividing the image into several sub image blocks; extracting a color of each pixel of at least one sub image block; calculating a proportion of a preset color in the sub image block, and comparing the proportion with a first preset value; extracting a texture feature value of the sub image block and comparing the texture feature value with a second preset value; and when a proportion of a preset color in a sub image block of the image reaches or exceeds the first preset value, and a preset texture value reaches or exceeds the second preset value, determining that a sub area corresponding to the sub image block is a working area. The method enables a setting of a working system to be simple and humanized, and working area identification to be flexible and convenient.
