Disclosed is a display device. The present device comprises a panel part including a plurality of sub pixels having different colors, a backlight part for providing backlight using a white light source and a blue light source, an image processing part for converting image data to first color frame data and second color frame data, a panel driving part for turning on a first color sub pixel according to the first color frame data and turning on a second color sub pixel according to the second color frame data, a backlight driving part for driving the backlight part, and a control part for controlling the backlight driving part to sequentially turn on the white light source and the blue light source according to the operation of the panel driving part. Thereby, the brightness can be improved.
