The present invention relates to an arc extinguishing device of a DC switch, the DC switch, and a DC circuit breaker, which electrically isolate terminals from each other in a rapid manner, when contact points are spaced apart from each other. The arc extinguishing part has a room (14) which is installed along the direction, in which an arc between a movable contact point (22a) and a fixed contact point (21a) is elongated, that is, the longitudinal direction of the fixed contact point (17a) or the movable contact point (18a). An arc is elongated in the rood (14). Thus, the arc is prevented from coming in contact with members of the DC switch, e.g. link member (16), insulation holder (33), etc. Therefore, an arc voltage is raised. The arc is extinguished when the arc voltage exceeds a voltage applied between a fixed contact point (21a) and a movable contact point (22a). Therefore, the movable contact point (22a) is quickly disconnected from the fixed contact point (21a) by increasing the arc voltage.
