The present invention relates to a LED dimming control device of a backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device comprising the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, PWM duty is adjusted by receiving a PWM dimming signal from outside wherein the LED dimming control device is adjusted to have: a rapid variable dimming range in which an average voltage of the PWM duty is rapidly increased or rapidly decreased from a certain range value among values of the PWM dimming signal inputted; a low dimming range in which an average voltage of the PWM duty is gradually varied within a smaller range than the average voltage of the PWM duty in the rapid variable dimming range; and a high dimming range in which an average voltage of the PWM duty is gradually varied within the greater range than the average voltage of the PWM duty in the rapid variable dimming range.
