White polymer thick film electroluminescent lamps and their applications for backlighting liquid crystal displays in portable electronic devices

Electroluminescent lamps have become an established backlighting technology for current liquid crystal displays(LCD)utilized in portable electronic devices. As these devices have become more popular, consumer demand for high quality backlighting has increased, especially for "paper white" and color LCDs. To meet this need, Durel has developed a series of white electroluminescent lamps for LCD backlighting purposes. These lamps meet the needs of modern LCD backlighting and have advantages versus other backlighting solutions.
