The present invention relates to a composition for reinforcing immune activities and a health functional food for improving immune activities, wherein the composition and health functional food comprise polysaccharide separated from Angelica Dahurica as an active ingredient. The Angelica Dahurica polysaccharide (ADP) according to the present invention causes an increase in the production of nitrogen oxide through the activation of histiocyte, phagocytosis through the acitivation of immature dendritic cells, and homogeneous T cell activation through an increase in the secretion of cytokine, so as to have an excellent effect in increasing immune activities and be usefully used to develop a treating agent for reinforcing immune activities and an anti-cancer treating agent.
