Provided is a connecting structure that is capable of absorbing thermal shrinkage of a conductor part and is suitable for a room-temperature insulation type superconductive cable. The room-temperature insulation type superconductive cable (100) is equipped with: a conductor part (110) that has a superconductive conductor layer (112); a thermal insulation pipe (120) that houses the conductor part (110) and allows a coolant for cooling the superconductive conductor layer (112) to circulate therein; and a main electrical insulation layer that is formed on the outer side of the thermal insulation pipe (120). This connecting structure (1) for the superconductive cable (100) is equipped with: a connection part (10) for electrically connecting the conductor part (110), which is pulled out of an end of the thermal insulation pipe (120), with a lead conductor (30) to be connected; and a thermal insulation container (20) for housing the connection part (10). The connection part (10) is constructed by electrically connecting the conductor part (110) with the lead conductor (30) using a flexible conductor (12) such that a movement of the conductor part (110) with respect to the lead conductor (30) and the thermal insulation container (20) due to thermal shrinkage is tolerated.
