PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory composition containing Ficus erecta var. sieboldii leaf extract is provie to treat arthritis and to manufacture functional drink and drug. CONSTITUTION: An anti-inflammatory composition containing: Ficus erecta var. sieboldii leaf extract isolated using alcohol of C1-C5, acetone, hexane, ethyl acetatae, dichloromethane, water, or mixture solvent thereof; Ficus erecta var. sieboldii leaf extract obtained by fractioning Ficus erecta var. sieboldii leaf solid extract with mixture solvent of water and hexane, water and dichloromethane, or water and ethyl acetate; and Ficus erecta var. sieboldii leaf extract obtained by suspending solid extract in the water and fractioning with hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate in order.
