The present invention relates to an adsorbent for treating wastewater containing anions, more specifically, an adsorbent which modifies the surface of calcium-bentonite sand, thereby improving anion adsorption ability and allowing adsorbed anions to be easily detached and to a manufacturing method thereof. The adsorbent according to the present invention can adsorb and remove various anions at high efficiency through an anion exchanging method and can be recycled to be reused. In addition, the adsorbent can be manufactured in a simple process using calcium-bentonite type materials, thereby having low manufacturing costs and performing adsorption and desorption without additional equipment.
