The present invention relates to an installing method of a steel cover for electronically maintaining a manhole or a chamber by using a short-distance wireless tag connector and a mobile application, and a method of maintaining and managing the manhole and the chamber using the same and, more particularly, to an installing method of a steel cover and a method of maintaining and managing a manhole or a chamber using the same which can obtain and store field book information of various kinds of the manhole or the chamber through an application of a mobile terminal in real time by installing a tag connection which receives a short-distance wireless tag connector at an upper side or a lower side of the steel cover. The methods according to the present invention can easily install the short-distance wireless tag connector on the upper side or the lower side of the steel cover by using a tag socket and manage information of various kinds, such as field book information of the manhole or the chamber not manually but electronically utilizing the installation method, thereby increasing accuracy, reliability, and convenience in management.
