A method for the production of lamination packets of individual stacked sheets, each of which sheet metal of a first part with a first contour and a second part with a second contour, in which the metal sheets lying in a sectional plane in an accurately dimensioned manner then cut to size and the cut sheets to a metal sheet package are layered on top of one another, the different cut sheets, and wherein a sheet metal band or unfinished metal sheets lying one behind the other two diecutting stations with a forward motion in a conveying direction, in which are fed to– in a first punching station the first sheet metal part of each blank, is to be cut and at least partially– in a second punching station the second sheet metal part of each blank, is to be cut at least partiallywherein– the length of the feed of the sheet metal strip or of the unfinished metal sheets from the first to the second punching station when cutting of successive sheets stepwise is changed in such a way that the first and the second part of this metal sheets are offset relative to one another in a different degree.
