Device and method for X-ray fluorescence analysis of contrast agent dispersion, comprises an X-ray source (1) and a beam collimator (2). A radial arrangement of collimator blades (8) is oriented on the primary beam. The X-ray with small or vanishing angular deviation passes through a radial direction. The multiply scattered X-rays (9) are absorbed by the collimator blades. The collimated X-rays (3) pass through the object, which is to be examined. The object, which is to be examined, comprises the contrast agent dispersion, which is a contrast agent with high atomic number. Device and method for X-ray fluorescence analysis of contrast agent dispersion, comprises an X-ray source (1) and a beam collimator (2). The X-rays with dependent fluorescence energy are reflected by the contrast agents. The reflected X-rays are detected without spatial resolution by a simple large-scale X-ray detector. An independent claim is also included for an image formation by rotation of the device around an axis in the object and by displacement of the device perpendicular to this axis, comprising collecting data over the contrast agent dispersion by the rotation and displacement of the device around the object during the X-ray fluorescence analysis and producing images of the contrast agent dispersion using the data with known computer tomographic method.
