The energy storage module (1) has prismatic memory cells (2) which are stacked on one another between two end plates (3). A double-sided self-adhesive insulation film (8) is arranged between two adjacent memory cells. One side of the insulation film is bonded with memory cell while other side of insulation film is glued with an adjacent memory cell. The insulation film is arranged parallel to end plate.
