The socket (200) has a direct current (DC) voltage terminal (460) providing a DC voltage, and electrically conductively connected with a DC voltage source, which is independent of an alternating current (AC) voltage source. An axial extension (490) of the socket runs along a plug-in direction of a DC voltage plug that is insertable in the socket. An AC voltage terminal (410) and the DC voltage terminal are arranged at a distance from each other along the axial extension such that accessing of the DC voltage terminal requires reaching of the AC voltage terminal. The AC voltage source is a public electricity mains. The DC voltage source is a photovoltaic-system.
