Organic optoelectronic device for microdisplay, has protective inorganic dielectric film having metal oxide interposed between anode and radiation emitting structure of organic LED, where thickness of dielectric film is uniform
The device (D') has a substrate (4) covered with an organic LED having an organic radiation emitting structure (9) interposed between an anode (3) and a cathode (10). A protective inorganic dielectric film (8') having a metal oxide is interposed between the anode and the radiation emitting structure, where the thickness of the dielectric film is uniform between 0.5 nanometer (nm) and 5 nm. The protective film extends continuously covering the anode, so as to form a nano-encapsulation of a control circuit (5). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an organic optoelectronic device.
