The method involves considering a guidance set point of an air controller, where the set point has a request for modification of a parameter of current flight trajectory (T0). A flight trajectory i.e. auxiliary trajectory (T1), of aircraft is determined by using the guidance set point and from current values of parameters of the aircraft and environment, where the auxiliary trajectory satisfies the set point emitted by the controller. The auxiliary trajectory and the current fight trajectory are displayed on a primary navigation screen (10) e.g. vertical display, of cockpit of the aircraft. An independent claim is also included for a device for assisting management of flight of an aircraft flying along a current trajectory.
