PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated optical fiber having a single coating layer excellent in heat resistance and detachability from a glass fiber, and to provide a radiation-curable resin composition for forming the coating layer.SOLUTION: The coated optical fiber having a coating layer of a single layer is provided in which the coating layer is formed by using a radiation-curable resin composition containing following components (A1), (A2), (B) and (C). (A1) urethane (meth)acrylate having structure derived from polycarbonate diol and a single (meth)acryloyl group. (A2) urethane (meth)acrylate having structure derived from polycarbonate diol and two (meth)acryloyl groups. (B) a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group other than urethane (meth)acrylate. (C) a radiation polymerization initiator.
