PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for easily producing RNA molecules having nuclease resistance.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for giving nuclease resistance to an RNA molecule, which comprises preparing a chimeric RNA molecule comprising an RNA molecule of a 1-100 base sequence linked to the 5' terminus of an RNA molecule having a base sequence of the general formula 1: 5'-ACAAAXXXXXX-3' wherein X, Xand Xindependently represent adenine or deletion, Xrepresents uracil or deletion, Xand Xrepresent a base sequence of any of guanine or adenine or deletion, in the proviso that there is no case that Xand Xare deleted and Xis uracil.
