PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a magnesia-carbon brick having high spalling resistance, and such a magnesia-carbon brick.;SOLUTION: A method of producing magnesia-carbon brick is characterized in that a bundle of carbon fibers with a predetermined fiber length is subjected to splitting treatment so that its bulk density becomes 10-100 g/L and then, the carbon fibers after the splitting treatment are mixed with magnesia particles, carbon materials and binders.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
