PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide embodiments of an isolator (10) having a nested flexure device (12), and embodiments of a nested flexure device and methods for production thereof.;SOLUTION: In one embodiment, an isolator includes an isolator body (16) and a nested flexure device mounted on an end portion of the isolator body. The nested flexure device includes an inner flexure array (82) compliant along first and second perpendicular axes orthogonal to the working axis of the isolator.
