PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for a terminal crimping machine which can cope with a long crimping stroke (e.g. 40 mm) and a short crimping stroke (e.g. 30 mm) and enables downsizing of the size of the apparatus, and so on.SOLUTION: An applicator AP is provided with a terminal feeding mechanism TF which feeds a terminal band 100 in which a large number of terminals 101 (Figure 1) to be crimped in an end part of a wire are aligned. The terminal feeding mechanism TF has a feed cam 12 (Figures 4 and 5) attached to a shank 13 driven by the terminal crimping machine. The applicator AP also has a cam roller 1 coming in contact with the cam surface 12a of the feed cam 12 and a feed rod 2 which moves the cam roller 1 forward and backward through linear motion according to the movement along the cam surface 12a. The feed blade 11 feeding the terminal band 100 is oscillated by a feed arm 7 driven by a feed rod 2 or a blade holder 10.
