PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both improvement in economic efficiency and high output of power generation by a power generation gas turbine by cooling intake air.;SOLUTION: An intake air cooling device 10 for a gas turbine includes: first cooling means 12 that cools the intake air of a power generation gas turbine 2 by driving a refrigerator 11; second cooling means 13 that cools the intake air of the power generation gas turbine 2 by humidification; and a cooling control section 20 capable of switching each of the first cooling means 12 and the second cooling means 13 to an operation or non-operation state. The cooling control section 20 determines whether each of the first cooling means and second cooling means should be operated or not, on the basis of a comparison between the revenue and expenditure balance at power generation by cooling the intake air with the first cooling means and the revenue and expenditure balance at power generation by cooling the intake air with the second cooling means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
