PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle tip sealing device for a blood collection device, enabling a user to easily seal a needle tip after blood collection and to intuitively grasp the sealing state of the needle tip by visual inspection.;SOLUTION: A protector P capable of covering a needle tube 5 comprises a first member 1 rotatably supported by coupling one end to a hub, and a second member 2 with which the dimension of the length direction of the whole protector can change between the expansion state and the shrinkage state by being slidably supported by the other end side of the first member. A sealing member 3 to which a tip end of the needle tube 6 is pricked to seal the tip end is disposed in the second member 2 in the process of changing from the expansion state to the shrinkage state. The first and second members are colored or patterned on the appearance respectively so that the protector has combinations of the color or pattern on the appearance of the first and second member can be different from each other in a boundary as shown by X, Y and Z in the expansion and shrinkage states.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
