PURPOSE: An active lens and 3d image display adopting the same capable are provided to adjust an optical characteristic such as refractive power. CONSTITUTION: An active lens(100) includes as follows: a first substrate(110) having a first nano electrode unit(140); a second substrate(190) which is formed on a second nano electrode unit(160) facing the first nano electrode unit; a liquid crystal layer(150) is prepared between the first substrate and second substrate.
