PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and inexpensive 3D glasses technology to synchronize with a 3D television.;SOLUTION: A frame rate of a 3D television and other 3D display devices is detected by an independent component analysis by the active shutter 3D glasses equipped with many photo-detectors such as a photo-diode. The frame rate is used so as to update a clock built in the 3D glasses which measures the time of the active shutter, thereby synchronizing the shutter with the 3D display device. When a left eye/a right eye images are displayed oppositely, the shutter can be reversed with a switch.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
