PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling recording apparatus in which a traveling fare can be accurately calculated without requiring a driver to press a button after arriving near a destination.;SOLUTION: When a current location of a taxi becomes closer to a destination, a taxi meter 10 changes a calculation rule based on the distance covered and a stop time during traveling to a calculation rule only based on the stop time during traveling (S3). When a position of a shift lever 25 becomes a position of "P" in parking, as an operation to be performed before a passenger gets off, the taxi meter 10 shifts a meter state from "occupied" to "payment", lights off "occupied" on a screen of a display 15 and lights on "payment". The taxi meter 10 transmits amount data of a determined fare (taxi traveling fare) to a navigation system 50 (S6). Thus, the taxi traveling fare is displayed both on the display 15 of the taxi meter 10 and on a touch panel display 54 of the navigation system 50.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
