Disclosed is a method for producing a dried material that retains an active ingredient inherent in a starting material or a ground product of the dried material, wherein the starting material comprises an isolated highly fresh tissue, part or organ of a domestic fowl or a mixture thereof.  The method comprises subjecting the starting material to the following steps (A) to (C) and optionally step (D) in this order: (A) a finely cutting/grinding step; (B) a heating step; (C) a drying step; and (D) a grinding step, wherein the step (B) comprises carrying out a heating treatment in a semi-sealed space which has a low oxygen gas atmosphere, an ambient pressure and a temperature ranging from 95 to 120°C and is formed by a gas-liquid mixed medium composed of fine water droplets and water vapor.
