PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation carrier for mycelium of matsutake mushroom for infection of mycelium of matsutake mushroom onto root of a host plant by which efficient cultivation of mycelium of matsutake mushroom is realized without providing any negative effects to natural environment since the cultivation carrier is degraded over time after being embedded into the ground.SOLUTION: There is provided a carrier for cultivation of mycelium of matsutake mushroom comprising silk fabrics whose warps and/or wefts are formed of twist yarn of raw silk and whose one side surface is subjected to napping process and producing method for the carrier on which mycelium of matsutake mushroom is cultivated.
