摘要

A method for estimation of selenase effect on energy metabolism indices and prooxidant-antioxidant system in organs of rats with toxic hepatitis involves blood examination, wherein selenase is injected intragastrically in dose of 50 mg/kg once every day during toxic hepatitis for 20 days, determined are protein oxidative modification markers, antioxidant system status by activity of superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and content of reduced glutathione, energy metabolism status by level of most important intermediates such as ATP, lactate, pyruvate and malate in protein-free extract of cardiac, brain and liver homogenate. The results obtained are compared to control, and selenase effect on energy metabolism indices and prooxidant-antioxidant system in organs of rats with toxic hepatitis is estimated when indices are changed.
