A method for manufacturing an enhanced product, comprising selecting a genetic component responsible at least in part for a desired attribute of at least one source organism; determining a genetic sequence of interest that corresponds to the selected genetic component; synthesizing copies of the genetic sequence of interest to create synthetic genetic sequences; and providing the synthetic genetic sequences to a manufacturer, wherein the manufacturer combines the synthetic genetic sequences with at least one component comprising a product during manufacture to produce an enhanced product incorporating with the synthetic genetic sequences.
