摘要

We compared the new synthetic DBM with those of conventionally used DBM. The obtained results are as follows:rn(1) Magnesia A can be produced without losing quality stability in the same manner as that for conventionally used synthetic DBM.rn(2) Magnesia A has a higher hydration resistance than conventionally used DBM due to the B_2O_3 content of the fine powder of Magnesia A, as previously reported. Even when it is used as raw material for monolithic refractories, the strong hydration resistance is preserved in the refractories.
