The invention relates to a rotary bend testing device for plate-like substrates (1) made of ceramic or glass-ceramic materials, wherein the substrates (1) to be tested are subjected to bending. In order that uniform checking both of the top side and of the underside of the substrate (1) takes place in the rotary bend testing device, without the substrate (1) having to be turned over, it is proposed that a first roller arrangement (3) consisting of at least three support rollers (3a, 3b, 3c) arranged on shafts is arranged on a mounting platform (8), all the support rollers (3a, 3b, 3c) running on the same first plane on a first circular track, that a second roller arrangement (2) consisting of at least three pressure rollers (2a, 2b, 2c) arranged on shafts is arranged above or beneath the first roller arrangement (3), wherein all the pressure rollers (2a, 2b, 2c) run on the same second plane on a second circular track, that the centre (10) of the first and the second track is arranged on a centre straight line perpendicular to the two planes and the support rollers (3a, 3b, 3c) are arranged in an offset manner with respect to the pressure rollers (2a, 2b, 2c), i.e. one roller of one roller arrangement is arranged between in each case two rollers of the other roller arrangement, all the rollers from one of the two roller arrangements are driven at the same speed via a drive apparatus and the second roller arrangement (2) is displaceable on the centre straight line.
