The present invention relates to a method for producing a barbecue sauce for meat and barbecue sauce. A method for producing barbecue sauce used as chilly chicken sauce comprises the steps of: heating a cooking container containing oil at a predetermined high temperature; adding vegetables including onion, chopped garlic, and chopped ginger in the heated cooking container, roasting the vegetables until the vegetables until the ingredients turn out to be brown, and mixing and grinding the same with a chicken stock in a blender; adding tomato paste in the cooking container containing oil and heating and roasting the same at a predetermined high temperature; adding the ground vegetables and chicken stock with sauce materials such as tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soju, chopped pineapple rings, ion starch syrup, paprika seasonings, capsaicin, and cayenne pepper in the cooking container containing the tomato paste roasted at a high temperature, and boiling the same for a predetermined period of time to produce basic sauce; and adding salt and black pepper powder into the base sauce and seasoning the same to be completed. Even with a partial change in sauce materials or a little change in cooking process, sauces having special tastes optimized to slightly different meat foods may be individually used, and the tastes of chilly chickens, pork chops, or pork ribs which are meat foods having the barbecue sauce of the present invention applied thereto may be further improved.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
