The purpose of the present invention is to provide an automated apparatus for producing traditional books and a method for teaching how to make a traditional book using a kit produced by the automated apparatus. A Korean traditional book produced by Five pins stabilization bookbinding method is made by binding the front, back, and spine of a book with a strap in various directions not using a simple repetitive pattern. Since an automated system for mass production of traditional books does not exist, the traditional books are manually produced one by one and hard to be commercialized. To solve the difficulty in satisfying needs of customers with handmade traditional books due to a high production unit cost, provided is the automated apparatus for producing traditional books, comprising a printer, a conveying unit, a cutter, a puncher, and a strap binder. It is possible to lower a production unit cost and commercialize traditional books by producing a large quantity of traditional books through the automated system so that the traditional books can be universally used and be competitive by satisfying the needs of the customers. In addition, the automated system provides a single kit including selective components allowing personal production of a traditional book and a manual on how to make, which allows children during the time in need of development of creativity to make a book at home for themselves with parents instructions. Accordingly, the children organize and complete the content of a book, and experience the whole process of book production, thereby developing visual and linguistic ability to express themselves through making, drawing, and decoration.
