DIFFUSER FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PRESSURIZATION PERFORMANCE USING STEAM JET FLOW CONTROL IN HYBRID SAFETY INJECTION TANK

The present invention relates to a diffuser for steam pressurization installed in the upper part of a safety injection tank. An SIT pressurization diffuser installed to a pressurization pipe in a safety injection tank diffuses the momentum of jet flow to prevent steam jet injected to the safety injection tank from a compressor from directly colliding with water surface, and greatly reduces a steam condensation rate due to the reduction of the momentum of jet flow which reaches the water surface by reducing a heat transmission area between stored low-temperature water and the steam injected into the tank, thereby, minimizing the deterioration of the pressing capacity of the safety injection tank, caused by the compressor.
