The present invention relates to a locking device for a folding railcar door. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the locking device for the folding railcar door comprises: an outer cover installed in the outside of the folding door installed to be able to rotate at a door frame forming a gate; an inner cover installed in an opposite folding door of the outer cover; an inner plate installed in one side of the outer cover, having a stopper on a side surface; a cam installed in the inner plate to be able to rotate; a knob assembly installed in the outer cover and axis-connected to the cam; a slider having an accommodation space to accommodate the cam, and a hanging unit controlled by a stopper formed on the side surface of the slider wherein the slider is installed in the inner plate to move forwards and backwards by the rotation of the cam; a lock pin installed in the hanging unit of the slider of which one end is inserted into the door frame while moving forwards and backwards; a latch unit installed in the inner plate to move forwards and backwards, having a latch on the outside wherein the inner side of the latch comes into contact with the slider; a lever assembly installed in the inner plate to be able to rotate to move the latch forwards and backwards; an inner cover assembled with the inner plate, and installed between the outer cover; and inner and outer handles axis-connected to the lever assembly and installed in the inner and outer covers.
