The present invention relates to a separating device with which, in a material to be cleaned, magnetizable particles from the material to be purified are of hydro-cyclones. In order to assure a good degree of separation to be able to achieve as far as possible a simple manner, it is proposed, a separating device with a first and a second material receiving chamber, which are connected to each other and between which a magnet separating device is provided, and the separating device, in such a way that it between a first position, in which the first material receiving chamber in a higher position than the second material receiving chamber, and a second position, in which the second material receiving chamber in a higher position than the first material receiving chamber - and forth. The invention further relates to a method for depositing of magnetizable particles.
