PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser radar apparatus and a travel body capable of realizing a scanner-free light-receiving side, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A laser radar apparatus comprises: a light-transmission-side lens 12 forming laser light L emitted from a laser light source 11 into a line shape extending in a horizontal direction X; a scanner 13 radiating the laser light L that has been formed into the line shape while scanning the laser light L in a perpendicular direction Y of a to-be-measured area A; a light-receiving-side lens 16 receiving reflection light R reflected by the to-be-measured area A; a light-receiving line sensor 18 having a plurality of light-receiving cells aligned along the horizontal direction X; a light-receiving-side optical system 17 condensing the reflection light R received by the light-receiving-side lens 16 toward the light-receiving line sensor 18, a magnification for the light condensed in the perpendicular direction Y being set larger than a magnification for the light condensed in the horizontal direction X; and an information generation unit 21 generating three-dimensional information on the to-be-measured area A on the basis of a reception signal output by the light-receiving line sensor 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
