PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an axial symmetry body with a flange having a relatively wide width by laser metal building-up.SOLUTION: First, by laser metal building-up, an annular first layer, which comprises plural beads and have a width of two times or more of a width of the bead, is formed on a peripheral surface (2a or 2b) directed to a radial direction inside or a radial direction outside of a base material 2. Then, by laser metal building-up, plural annular raising layers, each of which comprises plural beads, are laminated on the first layer. According to this configuration, an axial symmetry body with a flange having a relatively wide width can be manufactured while so reducing a heat affected zone in the base material 2 as to be extremely small.
