PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic electrodeposition coating composition which hardly causes cissing of a coated film, sufficiently secures gloss and smoothness without impairing characteristics required for the cationic electrodeposition coating composition such as corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, adhesiveness to a base material and finish coating suitability and further secures initial characteristics even when a coating material stays for a long time.;SOLUTION: There is provided a cationic electrodeposition coating composition which specifically comprises: as essential components, (1) a cationic resin (base resin) obtained by cationizing the amino group of a vinyl copolymer resin having an amino group and a hydroxyl group with an acid; (2) a blocked polyisocyanate (curing agent); and (3) a polyether polyol represented by the following general formula: general formula, [B]-[A]-[C], wherein, [A] represents a linking group having (CH(CH₃)CH₂O) as a repetition unit and [b] and [C] represents (CH₂CH₂O) as a repetition unit and a functional group in which one terminal is an OH group.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
