PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as a method for manufacturing coated silver particulates based on an amine complex decomposition method, a novel and unprecedented manufacturing method and coated silver particulates manufactured by the same method.SOLUTION: The provided method comprises: a first step of generating, by mixing a silver compound capable of generating metallic silver as a result of the heating and decomposition thereof, an alkylamine, and at least one type of alcohol compound soluble with water, a complex compound including the silver compound and the alkylamine; and a second step of generating, by heating and decomposing the complex compound, silver particulates coated with a protective film including the alkylamine.
