PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection assist system capable of effectively educating or training a trainee of a visual inspector so as to upgrade the skill for visual inspection, and objectively evaluating or discriminating skill acquisition of the trainee, and a visual inspection skill assist method using the same.;SOLUTION: A visual inspection skill upgrading assist system 1 that includes a memory unit 10b, a display unit 2, input units 3 and 4, and a control unit 10a, and assists an inspector of visual inspection to upgrade the skill includes: image selection display means 11 that selects predetermined image data from among image data items stored in the memory unit 10b, and displays the image data on the display unit 2; acceptable/defective selection means 12 that allows a trainee of the inspector of visual inspection to select acceptable or defective for an object to be inspected which is represented by the image data selected and displayed by the image selection display means 11; and skill discrimination means 13 that discriminates the trainee's skill for visual inspection on the basis of acceptable or defective of the object to be inspected, which is recorded as relevant information, according to acceptable or defective which the trainee is allowed to select by the acceptable/defective selection means 12.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
