PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foamable polystyrene-based resin particles enabling to produce a foamed molding excellent in heat resistance and mechanical strength such as flexural strength and compression strength, and to provide a production method therefor.;SOLUTION: The foamable polystyrene-based resin particles prepared by containing a foaming agent comprising a ≤6C hydrocarbon in a polystyrene-based resin particle are characterized in that a ≥7C organic compound is uniformly contained in the whole foamable polystyrene-based resin particles (excluding inner foams), and the solubility parameter (A) of the organic compound and the solubility parameter (B) of the foaming agent satisfy the relation of the following expression (a): ((B)-0.5)≤(A)≤((B)+1.5); and the production method therefor is also provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
