PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linerless label cutting device which can be produced and used safely at low cost, requires no large force for cutting a linerless label, equalizes cutting force in a widthwise direction when cutting the linerless label, and keeps stable cutting performance from the start to the end of the cutting, and a linerless label cutting method for a portable linerless label applicator.;SOLUTION: This device includes: a cutting piece 51 that can cut the linerless label into single leafs of the label by reciprocating in the widthwise direction of the linerless label carried on an endless carrier belt by focusing to operate the cutting piece 51 which reciprocates in the widthwise direction of the linerless label, via an association mechanism 52 of an operation lever; and the association mechanism 52 including a link bar 56 for causing the cutting piece 51 to associate with the operation lever, wherein a change of a tilt angle of the link bar 56 with respect to the surface of the endless carrier belt during the cutting of the linerless label by the cutting piece 51 is decreased.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
