PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing alloy which has a strength and a ductility equal to the existing Al-Si type alloy brazing although the brazing alloy can be brazed at a lower temperature than the existing Al-Si type alloy brazing, has a wetting property for a substrate equal to, or more than Zn-Al eutectic alloy solder and has a texture of an alloy layer and a mechanical characteristics unchanged before and after brazing, when various kinds of Al alloys are brazed.;SOLUTION: A zinc base brazing alloy includes: 5.5 to 21 mass% of Al; 1 to 9 mass% of Ag; 0.01 to 1 mass% of one kind, or two or more kinds in sum selected from a group consisting of the iron group elements (Fe, Co, Ni), the fourth group elements (Ti, Zr, Hf) and the fifth group elements (V, Nb, Ta) in the periodical table; and the remainder of Zn and inevitable impurity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
