Organic photo-cathode and a method of manufacturing the same

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocathode that has a high flexibility of design and that can be manufactured with ease.SOLUTION: A photocathode in which metal fine particles are evaporated or deposited on a surface of an organic semiconductor, emits electrons by light irradiation with an energy lower than any one of an ionization potential of the organic semiconductor and a work function of the metal fine particles.
