Method of manufacturing the support member and the human body support equipment, as well as the human body support tool

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support member and a human body support tool excellent in rigidity and followability to a human body shape and having a sufficient human body support function; and to provide a method for manufacturing the human body support tool.;SOLUTION: Support members 12 and 14 each include: a knitted fabric 20 knitted by using heat-shrinkable knitting yarns 24; rigid parts 32 in which highly rigid thermoplastic resin monofilament yarns 28 are knitted over predetermined plural courses of the knitted fabric 20; and flexible parts 34 located along the monofilament yarns 28 on the sides thereof. In each of the support members 12 and 14, the knitted fabric 20 is formed by the heat-shrinking of the knitting yarns 24. Flexible selvage parts 30 are provided on the side edge parts in the wale direction of each of the support members 12 and 14. The knitted fabric 20 of each of the support members 12 and 14 is knitted by inserting a predetermined number of insertion yarns 26 into chain stitches 25, and the monofilament yarns 28 are knitted along the chain stitches 25.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
