Provided is a lump crushing device which has a small height, requires a little extra height for mounting, and allows a molding machine, such as an aeration type machine, to work at maximum performance. Also, the height of the lump crushing device is reduced to make the device space saving. Also provided is a conditioned sand supplying system which can be easily maintained, A lump crushing device provided with; a first crushing bar supported at the opposite ends thereof and having blades extended in the radial direction of the rotating shaft; and a second crushing bar supported parallel to the first crushing bar on a horizontal plane at a spacing from the first crushing bar and having a rotating shaft rotating in the direction opposite to that of the first crushing bar, wherein the lump crushing device is configured in such a manner that, when sand to be conditioned is supplied from above between the first crushing bar and the second crushing bar, the lump crushing device sifts the sand and crushes lumps by causing the sand to move from above to below. A conditioned sand supplying system is configured in such a manner that the crushing bars are supported on a carriage frame and that motors for rotating the crushing bars are provided on the carriage.
